I go to Gary Monday for Falcon's orientation then off with a trainer. I haven't seen much posted here about them not that it would have made a difference. The Southeast recruiter, who was a driver for them for several years, has been honest with me. How do I know you ask, I have spoken to several drivers and researched them. He told me about 2200 miles weekly for flatbed and home weekends. He showed me one of their tractors, currently not in use, and it was well worn. He wasn't out blowin smoke and showing me the best to impress. They have good benefits, pay on percentage, and all of the corporate people I have talked to have been courteous. I have looked at there safety rating, it's comparable to several other companies out there. My new life begins next week and I am looking forward to it. I have no dreams of grandeur, I just want to do the job safe and well while making some money. I have been reading on this site for a few months now and Thank Everyone who posts here in all categories. I have learned a great deal here and will continue to read this forum. It has helped me make a realistic decision to pursue a career as a CMV driver.
Thanks to ALL
