Try Lucky Lady, Kenan Advantage and UPT. I'm sure there are a few more and if you can locate just one loading rack in DFW, just park up and watch for them rolling in. I'm sure there are racks for Motiva, Exxon and Flinthills Resources. Good luck

anybody know what Kenan Advantage pay per load and milege might be
-
Kenan pays percentage, so it depends on the customer and distance traveled. I have to do a smart guess and say they pay around 67% of the total revenue plus fuel surcharge. The FS may run around 38% of the total revenue, approx.. Kenan.....Good company, depends on where you are, but in TX they are short on trailers. I got hired on recently but because of a communication problem with the terminal manager at the time, I got passed over. Sometimes too many cooks spoil the broth. Good luck
tracycoltsfan Thanks this. -
UPT
Gemini Motor Transport (Loves)
Racetrac
Lucky Lady'
Dupree
Suncoast Resources
Superior
Coastal Transport
There are several more, just frew a blank. I worked for Suncoast and Gemini and made a lot of money at both places. They all have websites that you can apply on. I recommend Gemini, they have the best equipment. I was at Gemini six years and never made below $60,000 and worked10 to 12 hours 5 days a week. -
Oh and they do park a couple trucks at the Love's in Midlothian. Shifts are 5 to 5 so maybe you can catch a driver there sometime and they can help you get a job, they get a $1000 bonus.

Being fairly new to the forum and only a truck driver's wife I have a few questions. Currently in addition to my nursing degree it looks like i'm going to help my husband get his hazmat endorsement. Here it is, how hard is it to get in with the Gemini, dupree companies ? From what I see you'll said that they were good. He is driving a salt water tanker and currently hates the company he is working for. They have him waiting for a truck to drive currently it is 3 hrs and i'm wondering if it is legal to be a hourly wage earner but not pay you till you are actually driving. I look forward to any feedback.

As far as I'm concerned and I've been paid both hourly and by the load, I would be hopping mad if they only paid me by the hour if my wheels were turning. Dupre for instance will pay you if you have to wait for a truck. They pay by the hour and time plus half after 40 hours. It should depend on available openings whether your husband would have a good opportunity plus you have to have a good background and pretty clean CDL. Sounds like he needs to move on. If he's been paid by the hour then he should be paid for ALL hours he's on duty regardless if he's driving or not.
