    Hello, Iam thinking on buying a volvo 780 and i would like to know what kind a mileage are you guys getting?these are the spcs on the truck year 2006 engine cummins 500 Hp trans 13 rears 3:58 tire size 22.5

    ....guy's have told me the 400hp , turned to 500 hp get better fuel mileage.....I have completed minor work to get better mpg...... I average between 7.5 and 8.5mpg....loaded to 80K.....

    i drove one for about 6 weeks when i was with a mentor and we averageed6 to 8 mpg and thats with a new driver driving it

    Dice has to carry empty 55 gallon drums :Metal barrel::Metal barrel: because all the micro blew treatments he sprang for enable the truck to actually make fuel so he has to stop when the tanks get full. You'll hear him on the radio sometimes at a truckstop trying to sell some fuel :Fuel expenses: before he can get rolling again.:laughing6:

    YEAH I know. that's why he has turned down the ecotaz option. he would of had to get a seat on the market & sell his fuel as a commodity broker. :biggrin_25522:
