Yes there are several options with everything from outfits catering to the oil fields to major projects in south FL lasting the next few years that will take me. This is a few months away but if things remain the same I will likely take one of the S FL jobs to start and try to get another driver to slip seat.

I am free and open to any ideas to maximize money including relocating the truck to another state for long-term work.

Well yes I was hoping to get a cool die cast truck to match the one I’m buying, even if I gotta find someplace to custom paint it for me, doesn’t everyone have one? J

Rocking and Rolling I will never discourage you, but do you have any idea of many thousands of dump trucks are parked in South Florida? and these are people that will travel to any States in order to work at any price, just to get food to their tables, so get ready to work for almost nothing and make sure your truck is paid off before you get it rolling.

I used to have three dump trucks and used to employ five o/o and that was before the market went crazy, hauling to my customers not to a broker and I'm down to one truck and barely have enough work to keep that truck working at less than 50% of what it should be, making about 25% less than it used to be five years a go due to the cheap competition provided by those that are trying to barely survive in the business, so with that I wish you lots of luck in the dump truck business.

being as you have no experience. and you go out and buy a truck. and spend more time in the shop then on the road becuase you haven't learned how to take care of your equipemnt yet.

and you want to do it in a dump truck.

there's a lot more tender loving care needed for a dump truck then a long haul truck. besides the fact that the work just isn't there anymore. VERY RISKY VENTURE to be taking.
