04 Volvo D12 A/C problem

    My compressor bearings froze up and broke the belt. I had the compressor and belt replaced and the dryer. My A/C still doesn't work. If i jump the compressor with a hot wire it works fine. But when i connect it to the harness i get a code saying the unit is bad.
    Is there a reset for this or could a senser go bad when the compressor did? Had great A/C before.:Wrench:

    Which compressor did you buy? On some updated compressors that Volvo sells, there is also an attachment harness that comes along with that. Was that installed ? If not there might be an issue with the compressor wiring.

    Can you also provide codes under the climate control section, on the dash.
