Need help FAST!! Accepted for training at multiple companies

I am not sure if some of you been following my threads, but this is my current situation and will be as upfront as I can.

I just graduated 8/10/2012 and I been busting my ### to find work and the reason it's been so hard is because I have a felony from 2010. Now my original plan was to go with CRST, but when they ran my background that's when I found out that I had that felony the crooked lawyer told me it was a misdemeanor and some jobs pulled it as a misdemeanor, but that's another story.

So, I was suppose to start orientation for SWIFT this Tuesday, but they called me Friday and said my county has not released my background check and they have to push my date back a week to 9/10/2012 and I'm like ohh crap I was suppose to leave for Westin Express on 9/8/2012. So basically I had everything worked out so that if things did not work with SWIFT I had Westin Express as a backup and yes I know not the best companies, but remember my felony.

Now, to fast forward to today, I also was talking with a guy who has a company in Chicago called Mccook Company, and he pulls flatbeds only, but I can't find ANY info on this guy and to top that off he pulled my info off an ad I placed on Craiglist. He calls me out the blue today and tells me he's ready to come down today and head out with a trainer. I am skeptical because I can't find any info on him or his company. He also pays 1099 and has no type of benefits.

Is there anyway I can look this guy up before I take my last $150 to head to Chicago to fill my dream of truck driving??

 

How can I look this guy up on DOT?

 

Yeah, both SWIFT and Westin Express have accepted my felony it's just Obstructing Justice my dumb a55 ran from the cops for no darn reason just a panic move.

This guy says I will start out at 0.47 CPM and that his drivers average about 2500-3000 miles a week.

Yes, I'm going to see if I can look him up in his county.
