They don't pay? I've heard them accused of many things, that never being one of them.. Can you elaborate on that?

It is not so "simply put." If you want to make your case tell us who lied to you and about what. Who stole what and when did they steal from you. And elaborate on "they don't pay."

I can make the statement: They are honest, generous and pay alot of money.

Neither statement helps anyone. Make your case.

Not always, but on percentage there are loads that will pay even more than that. However the average is usually from 41-50CPM on percentage, if you play your cards right.

With TMC you get what you put into it. I have been with TMC for 1and a half years and have also ran into the trap of running not so legal. Now having said that ,I have found that with a little effort you can do 5 loads a week and run legal. (P.S.mike r. was T.C. and I found him to be very
    honest and staight forward)

If your considering this company, by all means, take the time to research them. Starting right here. Take the time to read back through all of these comments posted right here. If you do, you will see a number of patterns that will develop regarding this company. Consistent complaints and comments regarding log issues, forced dispatch not to mention a host of other issues concerning this company.

If your a new driver wanting to get a positive first time experience, this is not the company for you. Comparatively, they are a Swift Werner type org.

I wouldn't put them in the same league as either of those, but that's just my opinion. If you're a new driver and you're not going to drive for swift, werner, or the pumkins, you're -very- limited by that alone. Many "Great" companies won't hire new drivers. TMC, in my opinion is about as good as you're going to get, starting out.

Theres no forced dispatch at TMC. And i never had to run illegal, and was never asked or expected to. In fact, i went 15 minutes over my 11 one time, and before i even found a place to park my cellphone and qualcomm were both blowing up, admittedly TMC has had problems with logbook violations, BUT it was always THE DRIVERS CHOICE. They were never asked, or forced to run illegally, and if anybody, at any company ever asks you to do so, speak to the safety dept. immediately, but the company can't be blamed for drivers mistakes.

I don't know about that Patman. If you are new wanting to get into flatbed TMC is not a bad choice. The training is great and how you will be treated is a crash course in the bad side of the trucking industry. Everything else you said is right on the money. TMC has great training and equipment, but is not a career choice. Do six months (you will owe them otherwise) and get out. My 2 cents.
