New to forum. Looking to move out to western Canada. Have my AZ license with 6+ years experience. Looking to make big bucks any info on companies hiring experienced truckers? I've heard of drivers making between 2500-3000 weekly. Is this true or is it BS. I'm young and not afraid of work. Willing to work on a camp for one of those companies that flies you out kinda deal. As long as the $ is right I'm not too picky. Currently making 85,000 a year so anything less I'm not interested in. Has to be worth it for me to leave Ontario. All help is greatly appreciated.

Why would you want to leave ontario when your already making great cash and your home lol

+1
I've made the $3000 weekly and am much happier working far less hours to be in your income bracket. I don't think you'd be likely to make enough more to be worth the sacrifices you'd have to make. -
3000 weekly works out to be much more in Albert compared to Ontario. In Alberta you guys are all taxed 10% across the board correct? Here in Ontario I get taxed out the a#$. And I never said I have home time here in Ontario. Because I don't. Home on Saturday and that's it. 3000 weekly sounds good to me especially if i move the family out as well. Looking for a change of scenery anyway. Thank you for the opinions guys but Im Looking for got job leads not opinions. Basically need to know company names that make the 3000 weekly paychecks. Thanks in advance

Do you have any relevant experience?
-
I have 6 years of trucking experience. But none out in Albert.

Let me know if you find one. That seems like a lot of money just to be a driver. Thats like driller on service rigs money

That is good and will help you, but highway driving isn't the same as oilfield. Ever done any work off road in a semi? Done any type of specialized hauling that might be in demand out here? Heavy haul, picker truck or even tanker? All those things would help get into better wages right off the bat in this industry.
And 10% tax, nope. -
3000 weekly is alot of hours. i worked my 70 all the time and the most i took home after taxes was just over 3000 for 2 weeks.

Never driven in any specialized equipment or done any off road either. But heard of green guys making 2000 a week no problem so figured I could be closer to 3000. Thanks for the answers guys. This website is great. Wish I would of found it sooner. Keep the info pouring in gentlemen. Help me make the move. Dying to get our there
