My advice is don't get your CDL through a company. I think you are better off going to a school on your own. Companies that do that usually tie you up in a contract or you own them 6k or more

I would go to swift before I even thought about CRST or England. Those are the worst two. Teaming sucks.

Hey rookietrucker75, I almost got into a contract for training with PAM Transport thru C1 driving school in Indy about a month and a half ago, Thank goodness my blood pressure was up and got sent home, went to the Dr. got it straightened out, took about 2wks for BP medicine to do it's thing, while I was stuck at home I did a little searching on this forum, asked the same question and I'll tell you what I learned "DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH ANY CARRIER, IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO FINANCE THE COST OF YOUR CDL" If you are in a contract they OWN you and what happens if you quit or loose your job in the 11th month of the contract you OWE the total amount(around 6,000 dollars) and they want their money before you can go to work for any other carrier. So spend the money, go to a good school(at least 160 hours) if you have to borrow the money anywhere! Do yourself a favor"Be the master of your own future" When you go to work for a carrier that you choose, You feel more a part of it, NOT a victim of the situation.

Think about it, Pirate Trucker XOXX
