The TND on the screen says you need to reload the maps?
Thanks.

Yes. I purchased mine through best buy with their black tie warranty. They will just replace it if needed.

I apologize if this has already been answered. I have such poor Internet at the truckstop that I can only get a connection for a short time. I like using the multi-stop function and add all my fuel stops and deliveries in at the beginning. After I do that, it seems to only give me the mileage to the next stop. Is there any way to see the total mileage left to the final stop? (am using TND-720) Also is create multi-stop trip the same as "add as via" and if so, why are the different terms used?
One more thing: I was going to a customer at 20 Corporate Woods Drive, Bridgeton, MO. I was coming in from the south and the company directions said to take Corp Woods the second time you cross it (otherwise you have to make almost a sharp u-turn to get in the entry). I zoomed in the TND to see how it had routed and it showed passing the street and then taking it the second time I crossed it. But when I actually got very close to the destination, the TND switched and told me to take the first time I crossed Corp Woods. I just ignored it but wonder why it switched. Thanks -
Thanks,

Man do I feel RIPPED OFF with my purchase of the TND710 earlier this year.
Now I find out that in order to stay current I have to purchase map updates for an additional $89!
One would think that a $400 GPS would include map updates!
I understand the need for a company to make a profit on their products, but a more ethical company would just build the costs of the map updates into the initial costs of their products.
I mean, what professional driver would not need/want to have the most current maps?
Honestly, if I'm going to have to spend ANOTHER nearly $100, I think I'll just purchase another brand, like say the Garmin DEZL that has lifetime updates INCLUDED!
So, if you're planning on purchasing a Rand McNally trucking GPS product, beware of the additional fees! Talk about "nickel and diming", although the "cost of ownership" of these products are a lot more than a nickel and a dime! -
When you add a site while in a route, you can add more locations several ways.
1. Enter in the next location and then click on Add as Via. This will add this to your Multi-Stop with the Via being the next stop.
2. Go to Choose Destination/Multi-Stop Trips/Current Trip and add your other locations here. You can reorder your trip (locations) also. If this is a route you take often from the same point to the same points you can do a Save As and save your "current trip" in a folder for future reference.
Let me have your starting location for the 2nd part. You can PM me the info.
Most times the address in the Map Database is the business front door, not the delivery entrance.
thanks,
MarkRalph4159 Thanks this.
