I'll probably be the only one to say Swift. And that's fine with me.

DC it is all about what the company is doing for you. I could give a flying f what others say as longer I am happy with the company. I am looking forward to seeing if I meet the requirements in getting on with swift and then see where I can go.

Best company I worked for was Redman Building Products. It was a window manufacturer. They paid hub miles and I could get motel 2nd night out and get reimbursed. Dispatched by seniority--got to choose loads or decline and stay home. I had to unload or tailgate the windows, but it wasn't that bad. My truck ran 72 and penske maintenance. Had 2 dispatchers by phone--no Qcom..

You know Panella is still in business? Great to see somebody last doing this (unlike Osborne)

You will get that back at the end of the year when you do your taxes but if the company is taking out too much it is your right to call human resources and have that changed. I don't understand why the company would fight this as this really has nothing to do with them.

Club Car, out of Augusta, GA, hauling golf cars. I went to places that I will never see again, like Ft. McMurray, AB, Cape Breton, NS, and Coquitlam, BC(sorry if I misspelled it), and many times we came straight back to Augusta, GA empty. We got home time after every load. Health Insurance was $23, per week, at the time, and we had massive time off. I made over $80,000, one year, and always over $70,000. Best.Job.Ever. I quit that job, like a moron, and my life has been hell ever since. Stupidest.Mistake.Ever. I met the coolest people and saw the coolest places and had the best equipment and I made a lot of money. I wish I could work there again.

Wausau Carriers. I worked for them for 9 yrs until they got bought out by Roehl and it went downhill until I quit 2 yrs later. The pay was low but the equipment was good. Ran the same loads all of the time so you knew when you were going to be home. I did a dedicated paper mill to paper mill for 6 yrs. Work 4 days off 3 days. If I had a problem I could walk into the VP or Pres office in WI and get it solved on the spot. Good job, wish it was still there.
