I am an experienced north woods trucker from Wisconsin looking to get into the oilfields.

Hazmat will be in coming in the mail any day now.

What kind of housing does Power Fuels provide and how much does it cost. It will be just me not my family.

The lease a building now 1150 1br 1350 two br and 1500 3 br in Williston... But there is a hiring freeze here till end of sept I heard today...

Hi everyone - trying to learn about the trucking environment in ND - is it still booming or have things started to slowed down? Was up there a couple months ago and it looked super busy, but was hoping for an update. Is demand still strong? Is it still easy to find a good trucking job? Are rates and wages for jobs still going up? anybody know how Powerfuels is doing compared to some of the other companies like Rockwater, QC Energy, MBI Energy, Key energy, etc? would love any and all feedback. thanks

 

Some have slowed but the big boys are still pretty busy. Not like it was but still busy enough. Power Fuels just got bought out so it will be interesting how that game changes with shareholders involved now. Still a lot of good jobs in ND just stick with companies you listed (minus QC) and you should be fine. Still hard to beat power fuels but i don't think they are currently hirning.

 

Who bought power fuels?

 

a water service company called Heckmann corp.

is power fuels still one of the best companies to work for and why?
any idea what oil companies are having to pay these days for fluids transport services? as in, what rate (per hour or per barrel?) does power fuels collect to remove water, oil, etc?
has that changed the last few months?
has competition for those types of services increased?
