I've been thinking about taking a motorcycle class as well, but haven't really made any decisions. I'd love to learn to ride a motorcycle. I think maybe next year I'll have my mom and I sign up for a class, and do it together. She wants to ride a motorcycle too, So hopefully by this time next year I'll have that license as well. I've driven a dump truck, coach bus, transit bus, big truck, now all I need is the motorcycle license.![]()

Happy Birthday Kev! Hope you make it home by Friday. That was when I wanted to get home too, but don't think that's gonna happen now. They're having trouble finding me a load out of California so I'm watching TV and waiting. At least I feel better today and the secondary air gauge seems to be working again. I think I have a truck gremlin.
kev9781 Thanks this. -
Im across the street from my first schwan's delivery.....I don't deliver til midnight...then I got to haul ### to the next one...the haul ### to manassas for the final.....We will see how it goes.....BTW Schwan's evidently doesn't understand the Idea of a Distro Center...they put these things in the middle of nowhere and on some tight roads here in WV....Jeez...I guess could be worse...I could be downtown Chicago or Detroit...

Thanks Notez. Hopefully you will get something good that will get you headed back home from CA. At least you got your TV, but sitting and waiting is definitely no fun. I'm glad you're feeling better. Now don't go getting sick again. I think all of the KW's are possessed with some type of gremlin. Even in 703 I have a check engine light on. Never fails. Of course I told Cory the day I got the truck from Waynesboro, and he just told me "All of the check engine lights are on buddy", so I said "Alright" and left. No need in standing there arguing with him about it. Of course I will be blamed for driving with the check engine light on I'm sure, but I don't care. It seems as though all I do is call about a check engine light and I'm sure Doug is sick of hearing from me about them LOL. It has 403K on it anyway, so I will just keep driving it until they decide to take it from me and put me into a newer KW, that will probably be possessed as well, but at least I'm still able to work with it on.

Mic you will be where I live once you get to Manassas. Depending on what time and day you get to Manassas I might see you driving through. That's if they even get me home like I asked, but we'll see. I've already got my plans made up. So when I get back to VA, if it's tomorrow, then I'm going to tell them just let me go home, no need in them routing me back North only to NOT be able to get home Friday. I will take the loss and enjoy my birthday.

Picking up a CH Robinson load in Stockton that is due in South Bend, IN on Monday. Long haul and gets me home since I live about 30 miles from there.

I worked for schwans once upon a time. They're set up the way they are to cover rural population centers. It works well for them and helps them to saturate the market. Prices are outrageous but people will pay anything for service.

I remember the schwan's man coming to the farm when I was little....it was actually pretty decent stuff (we got mostly Ice Cream YUM!!)....but I digress...it just sucks where some of these Depots are located....but it could always be worse...
