Yeah I switched to flats because lantern was and he's like my brother from another mother. Plus I need flat experience for heavy haul. So far I love my hometime. 24 days out, 5 days home

Ya. I had it pretty good for a while. I made 48-50k for five years and only worked half a year. (7 on 7 off) During those weeks I worked I had a "helper" who did at least half the driving and helped with the tarps. From the sound of the new training program I don't think it is possible anymore.Pirate Trucker XOXX Thanks this. -
Well I leave for orientation Sunday in Gary, In. Do any of you Roehl trainers have a must have or a leave it the hell at home list. So far the recruiters have been great, but they are not the ones out in the truck. would appreciate any input, thanks.

Check a back in this Thread, a post to me Pirate Trucker XOXX, A driver tells of all you need if you are going flatbed, and van you most likely don't need the steel-toe boots, Just remeber there is only so much room in a truck, and to start out with there will be 2 of you in there.

My recruiter, Lindsey, told me that Roehl has a heavy haul division. Have you looked into it at all?
