I have a 98 century and I noticed that my running lights for the brakes on the tractor are not working. The brakes lights illuminate when I press the brake pedal. I'm thinking it's a fuse. So my questions is where is the fuse located is it the one under the dash on the passenger side or is it located somewhere else? If it's not a fuse then what? Anyone ever had problem like this? If yes how did u fix it?
Need help with 98 century brake lights.

you should pull the plug on one of the lamps and check with a test light if theres power going to them when you have running lights on.

If there is no power that means bad fuse? Right?

Probably bad wire or plug at that age, asssuming the bulbs are new, start at the lights and follow the wires til you find the broken one shouldn't have to go to far, I've got an '05 I've had to relace the entire rear harness from factory plug back, this calcium based brine they are spraying on the roads now in the winter just kills a elecrical system
Gears Thanks this. -
Thanks for the response. That was actually the problem a broken wire. I found it a day or so after I started this post. It was on the back of the frame not too far from the lights. Easy fix.
