Can I run my Slim Ps3 from a cig lighter inverter?

To add to that, get a usb tv tuner to get OTA broadcasts.

The newer ones are a lot better. My old HP with an AMD dual core would almost burn my fingers when playing a game. I got a new one with an i7 that stays cool, even when gaming.

I have a 400 watt Cobra inverter and use it to power my 19" LED tv (28 watts) and my slim ps3 uses no more than 100 watts when gaming or watching Blu-ray.

 

Just got the same invertor but the ps3 does not want to start I did the math and the start up watts is 250 watts. How are you getting your ps3 to work? Are u connected to your battery ( which I'm not allowed to do) or are you using the cig?

 

so what kind of body do you have because I think it's kind of strange that a PS3 did not want to start up i had a cobra inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter but after about 3 uses it blew the fuse in it si i took it back

 

When did you buy your ps3? Adamrocks?

 

I personally do not have a PS3 I have a X box I was thinking about getting 1 but the problem I have with my truck is that it does not idle so I don't know how long I can run an Xbox into TV without either messing up the inverter or running the battery down

 

the slims are okay but i have an older xbox and i have a hard time running it off my 400 watt inverter i blew out my last inverter with it..... time to buy a slim
