made it to west of Toledo last night...was seriously fighting the Z monster....have to be in FT dodge tomorrow by 07....Tim is trying hard to saddle me with a multi stop load to ST Louis....I just can't do it with the hours I have plus the schedualing of the stops...I told him I would run out of hours by the second stop and to give the load to someone who can pick it up, and run it down there and be able to take a break and start with a fresh set to make these delivery times....cause I just can't make it work worth a ####...with picking it up by 330 pm running 7.5 hours down there then making 5 appointment times the next day starting at 4 am and being done by 1300....

Its an all hands on deck on a saturday in Sheldon it sounds like....they have more freight than trucks.....Dale finally seen my problem with the load...I run into 14 hour clock big time by the end of the first or second load....right now all I want to do is sleep but my phone keeps ringing off the hook...ugggggg

UPDATE Well now I get to pick up in Dakota City and head to Joliet for monday AM....looks like I am driving the overnight yet again.......Just found that my tire that was repaired is STILL leaking air...I have to put about 10-20 lbs a day in.....this beast needs to get to sheldon for some TLC....she runs great...its just time for service and time to get a tire repaired correctly....

Made to Sapp Bros in Council Bluffs, IA today and didn't have to regen until I shut down so hopefully that's a good sign. Plan is to drop it at KW on Monday after my delivery and go home. This has been a very long two weeks.

Btw, if you have a Sirius radio in your truck that you don't have a subscription for, turn it on. Supposedly they are all activated for free thru Sept 11 as part of some promotion. Only 60 channels, but its free!

In FT Dodge...get to deliver some fish in about 4 hours....then finish my break...then off to dakota city for a load going to joliet by 5 am monday morning....I am really starting to not like the long lonely hours of the overnight drive.....but if I catch it all right I can do it and be in Joliet by 9 pm so that way by the time I am unloaded I should be able to roll on out to the house (hopefully)

I feel I am the only one posting lately...oh well

So I get to Nestle early this morning....(out of hours too) to make delivery....they put me in a door (cool so far) and then I sit for about an hour then was told to pull up so they can reseal my trailer (uh oh whats going on?) then get told I have to drive 5 miles out of town to take my stinky fish to cold storage and then come back and scale out cause they don't want this load today (so why make the appt then and did I mention I was out of hours??) so I ODD to cold storage (probably get yelled at by Tim but what the hell) i sent a QC message to dispatch...and also tried calling...but since its not really an emergency I just left QC messages as to why...(it was either ODD it to Cold storage or sit for 24 hours....) so Nestle is now in my dislike column for recievers AND shippers.....uggggg why on a sunday and why did it have to be me!?

Taking a chill break at the hotel in sheldon. I have a load to pick up in Dakota City, and I busted hump to try and get there yesterday and scoot home for a 34 before delivery on monday. Slight problem with that being that when I got to Dakota City, they hadn't started loading the trailer yet. So I go home after delivery. Oh well.

btw, if you stay at the hotel, be sure to get a cinnamon roll in the morning, if possible. They've got some thumpin' good cinnamon rolls at this place.

Home for the night and then deliver in South Bend in the morning. Afterwards have to drop my truck at Kenworth Dealer to get fixed. Exhaust leak and needs regen everyday now.

I'm planning on staying home till Thursday morning to get some stuff done. I get to go the dentist...fun, fun...not!

Dropped at harrisonburg then went over to mt. Crawford to pickup going to fargo,nd then rapid city sd. Was told by waynesboro friday they were calling the shipper to have it loaded early since the p/u appointment wasnt till early tomorrow morning...unfortunately, was told "still waiting on product, but your appointment aint till 0300"...looks like ill have to ask cory what the deal is on that, but i had my suspicions it wouldnt be ready that early anyways, good enough excuse to head over the the truck stop and call it a day lol
