Last time I ate at a Flying Dennys it was in Rock Hill S.C. just a week or so ago.

Middle of the night and a post hurricane downpour my stomach started twisting and turning, well a short version was a waddle in the storm and half a hour on the throne.

Had bathroom polio from setting so long, I staggard out like a wino.

I should of said I read that back in the early 80's:yes2557:but even Denny's has changed for the worse since way back when:biggrin_25521:It was funny back then my folks bought a Delta 88 Oldsmobile diesel when we went on trips to Iowa from CA. I tried to get dad to always stop at truck stops for fuel and to eat so he stop at the 76 Auto Truck Plaza funny thing all these years later I'm still going to truck stops:biggrin_25519:

I got tired of the truck stop slop after a short time. I do not mind the fast food. At least it is consistent. If I want to spend the dollars on the food, like in Canada, the Denny's at the Js up there are better than in the states.

Sometimes, if you want a steak, it is better to find some nicer place.

Truckstops are blah and the service is never exceptional for the most part.
