Yes there will and id assume they will tell it as 120 ..
Think of all those sand haulers hammering down at 90 imagine a blow out at 95 lol
ouch. Completely safe if everyone is not distracted and driving a vehicle that can handle the speed ..

More than that, set the cruise at 70, crossed into a 55 zone and didn't notice until someone got on the CB.
"Eastbound flatbed that just blew my doors off, you do know this is a 55 zone." Got back over riding the brake and still got passed.

Yes sir, it's sections in the unfinished area that have failed. Another op is right too. Belly dumps will fly if they can. It will be like 35 only worse.

There's another agenda at work here too. Faster vehicles use more fuel and thereby buy more fuel which increase the tax payments to the state. The E.I.A. reports fuel consumption is down 25% since 2000. That's 25% less tax collected to build and fix roads who's costs are increasing by 4% a year. That's unsustainable.

i just read all the comments on the toll road speed limit...can't please anyone...either you all cry because the speed limit is to slow like california and michigan or now it's to fast in texas...i remember when drivers cried about the slow speed limit in texas...nobody says that you have to run 85mph thats just the speed limit...hell it's not a split speed limit...four-wheelers pass run that fast or faster anyway no matter what the speed limit is...stay on the #### porch if you are afraid and stay out of the way...####!!!:rr:

Almost everyone sees the speed limit as the speed they ought to be going inclement weather or traffic aside. So yeah there is kinda the expectation that you have to go the posted speed or 5 over.

FWIW I would be happy with a 55 national speed limit, and just remove speeding from giving points on people's license, then we could solve our revenue problems because no one would drive 55 if the only consequences from speeding was a fine.

I try not to speed because during that traffic stop, I'll get a level 1 just after a PM and he'll find something wrong.

Here in Ontario the max speed limit posted anywhere is 100 km/h ( 62 MPH), same with Quebec. Trucks are locked at 105 km/h (65 MPH). In a 4 wheeler, the point at which you will be issued a ticket if caught is 118 (73 miles), anything above that your taking a risk. Some places like montreal for example it's common for traffic to be flowing at 130 km/h (80 miles) but if the popo decide to have picturetaker picnic ... well they have a hay day and make lot's of cash.
