can they only be used at the large brand truck stops suck as PILOT's and FLYIN J's and at the fleet fill up stations. i cant use them at smaller gas and fuel stations?

also i noticed the last time i used it asked if i was using it for truck or reefer fuel would i be able to use card to fuel my personal vehicle if i need to get to and from work?

it also lets me get a $25 advance which i did notice.

any info on these COMDATA cards would be great as i ve never had one to use before.

I've used comdata at numberous mom&pop stations throughout the U.S. so from what I know it is possible. Also I believe the limit for cash advance is $400 most places, of course you'll have to sign receipt. If you have $ left over u can forward it to your bank account

I use ours all across the country. If we find a t/s that does not accept it then we will use the atm and get cash that way to pay for whatever! Keep your receipts atm fees are tax deductible!

You ought to ask whom ever issued you the card, also ask the fuel station, many accept after its been authorized

I highly doubt you can use comdata card for your own personal vehicle unless your company approves it.You may not consider that stealing but companies may.You might wanna see about getting reimbirsed for the gas you use to and from work. Not just the big chains use comdata the smaller trk stops do too.You juat have to ask the cashier before fueling if you don't see a sign that tells you what cards they accept.

O/O's usually have less restrictions than company drivers . When I was leased to Bennett I could use the Comdata card at WalMart and get cash back .

Whoever issues you the card (your co) will have restrictions and when.where to use it. Some co's pay VIA the Com-data card. Some will restrict how many times you can use it in a day.

You need to ask your company. I would not recommend using your company fuel card to put fuel in your personal vehicle without permission from your company. They could consider it embezzlement or misappropriating company funds unless you receive your pay on the same comcard and are only using your personal funds. There is usually a transaction fee each time the card is used which will increase the price you pay for fuel. There are a number of different ways in which to set up fuel cards. Each company makes their own decisions about restrictions.
