So, here's an update on me, but really nothing much to report.
Well for starters I did not go with SWIFT, but not by choice. SWIFT called me and pushed my orientation back a week then when I called to check up on it I got no answer so now I am here in Nashville, TN at Western Express with day 1 of orientation is in the hole, but I won't claim victory until I'm hired...123456 Thanks this. -
Got my Comdata card today now I'm waiting on a trainer, so yeah everything is good so far...

We all make mistakes and deserve 2nd chances. I am a felon myself, not proud of the fact, but it is what it is. I have 13 years of safe driving no accidents and no moving violations. I believe I am a true professional, and I hold myself to a very high standard. I keep my driving record spotless, because in my eyes I already have one big negative working against me. When ever I apply to a company I am open and upfront about my felony, if they hire me great, if they don't in my eyes its there loss, but also there prerogative. I also have been able to pass two federal background checks one for haz-mat and the other for a TWIC card.
So like others have stated, you should do fine in this industry, your persistence paid off. Stay at Western express for a year or two be safe and keep a clean driving record and others doors will open up for you.
