Little America WY, getting ready to depart. Stopped in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the desert between Casper and Rawlins last night - great stars, absolutley no human presence other than me, and utter (I mean TOTAL!) silence.

hartland wi....at the 90 my day was going according to plan until my back tarp decided it wanted to wave to the other motorists in a big way long story short no choice but to pull it off and pray that the rain was done for the day no safe to get on top of this load......just dont understand how it moved w/the amount of overlap i had on it

i know the wind was horrible going west but seriously.....its a mystery

 

Well Still in Springfield.
Picked up my load this morning (1AM) and headed up M-13. Could not get any speed up, truck wanted a Regen, did that hoping that would fix the problem. Nope, struggle to get back to Springfield. Dropped load at the yard and headed over to International. Seems Turbo is ca-put. So here I sit at the Inn, waiting to see what Monday will bring.

Doing great. Riding up to STL and across 70 to KC tonight to finish out a 3k week. The bank account says yummy.

 

Just out of curiosity, since I'm from that part of Texas, what is your reasoning for going to Friona, TX through Tulia? (not trying to start an argument, just wondering)

Uh, yeah. Just in the attitude change alone. Seriously, unless you've been married to someone who is working at a job they HATE, where their integrity is questioned on an hourly basis; it's difficult to grasp.
