Attention all company drivers!!!

When your starting out there is no good company to really go work for, the reason why is all the training companies are so big that you are just another cheap driver that can haul their freight for them. Also think about this all the big companies are in bed together! What do I mean by this Lets look at Swift and Knight they are cousins, Us Xpress and Covenant are Brothers, covenant also owes SRT, Blue star and a few others and they are known as the Covenant Group! The big orange pumpkin aka Scheinder and how do you say Jb hunt in German? Scheinder LOL Western Express is know owned by Knight but Knight is trying to get someone else to buy Western Express! So now that you see that every big company is sister companies with one another in some way or another, you can understand why the trucking industry is in the shape its in!

Just remember pick one company to get started after school, stay with them for one year otherwise other companies won't even consider hiring you, then you can move on to a smaller company with better values and better pay and who really appreciates us drivers.

 

B I N G O !! You've hit the head right on the nail BBT. However, you omitted mentioning that Maude Knight married Chester England back in the early 1900's. Not to mention their other holdings, like Horizon Leasing. They've got their fingers of influence in more than they reveal.

I personally don't care if they know who I am. I won't say anything on here i won't say to their face. Liars deserve to be looked in the eyes and told what they need to hear by real men who don't put up with their lieing, stealing, cheating, and two faced sceems!! They talk about how bad truck drivers are, I wish some of these people bad-mouthing us could get a load of these trucking companies!!

I have had bad experiences with two companies. Design Transportation in Dallas, TX and Transport America out of Mn. While the experiences were bad the companies are just fine. Both occasions, looking back at it, I was 99% wrong. But that other 1% really pissed me off at the time. No company makes a profit over the long run by screwing their employees. Drivers have control of the company at their feet. Slowing down and being late for appointments threatens a companies very survival. Drivers get mad, drivers get there late. You get there late by following ALL the rules. You do the inspection in the morning. You find something wrong. You make them fix it. You get stopped at the scales and you ask the DOT guy if he can find anything wrong with your tractor and trailer as it feels funny. Can you look over my logs? All this takes time but is not your fault.

I was a railroader for a long time and we shut down the trains everytime we got screw by management. If you are angry, use the rules but make sure you are correct in your anger.

Transport America is a very good company. Design Transportation is a very good company. I did not explain myself very good to them. Therefore, I was not a good fit with either of them. I left them no choice but to let me go. Had I spoke up while getting so worked up, maybe they could have figured out what changes need to be made.

As for ######## on the internet. ####em if they cant take a joke.
