Happy to answer any questions but wulfman is right, wedge is a better source for solo info. As for dispatchers (and every other department at USX) we have found that our attitude usually determines the level of service we get. And we almost always have a good attitude. Yes, you can have an inverter up to 1750 watts, have heard rumors about the shop no longer doing the install, getting a new truck tomorrow so I will let you know.

I just had an inverter installed last week at shippingsburg.. they would only install the wiring for it. Told me i had to mount the inverter..

As with many unexplainable policies at USX, this is probably a local issue. Different terminals have different rules. I will let you know what Lexington has to say about it.

OK, Lexington has no problem installing the inverter. They told me they had to do it and I was not to touch it.

 

So how is the prostar? Curious to hear all about it and
Pictures of how it is set up. Are you still in the reefer division?
This one has a catwalk?

 

We are not in it yet, they are installing the inverter and cb right now. We are going to have some challenges with the setup. Truck looks pretty nice but things like our tv are going to be tough
