Power Fuels just cut their rates to $120 an hour, resulting in an approximately $10,000 annual decrease in driver pay. There seems to be downward pressure on wages though out the patch right now.

Its going to be $120/hr for Whiting, Continental and Petro Hunt. Hess will be business as usual and all the others are still $140. Be we do alot of Whiting.
Power Fuels isnt the best place to come right now. Its really slow up here and we are missing alot of work. My boyfriends check was only $1200 for two weeks. That was take home and after they took out rent. Still, it used to be like 25 to 2800 for two weeks. We both work nights so that include the $60 shift difference. We are not working full time. Dunno what the heck is going on. Cobra seems to be staying busy up in Williston tho. He keeps trying to get me to transfer over there but I like Watford City....:biggrin_25519: small and relatively quiet. People are starting to leave. They are getting sick of it. Its been like this off and on for the last 4 months and right now has been the worst.

Gut told me to go regional and work at becoming an I/O last March.

Glad I did now after interviewing with MBI.

Does anyone know anything about Badlands trucking? The good the bad and ugly.

    Thanks in advance.

:biggrin_25511:The good.... Great pay and benefits and housing.... The bad... They are on a hiring freeze... Williston production water is always busy... The rate drops are cause companies like J@S are bidding 90 dollars an hour just to keep contracts... But you get what you pay for up here...Rumor is Key energy drivers are working less and less...I always get my 12 hours up here in Williston with BPF...

I think he was referring to Badlands Trucking not Badlands Power Fuels. Either way, thanks for the info. I heard they were on a hiring freeze but didn't know for sure. Key's yards have been full more lately than ever.....conincience.....hmmmmmm.

Yea they always screw up stuff... A driver ran over a well head in the middle of the day... 750,000 in damage.... They put production water in a rig that needed fresh water...so the rig was shut down for a week while it had to be flushed out... They hire a lot of new and or no experience drivers so that's a calling for disaster... Besides you won't get experienced driver when u hire at 20 an hour and can't even get ur drivers 40 hours a week...

any crude hauling jobs out there? Any contractors looking for a good solid driver to haul crude in ND? I am looking.... Tx is a joke! Alot of promises and no delivery at all. Alot of scammers out there and BS'ers. Housing is just as bad as ND in Odessa, Midland, Hobbs NM, and other surrounding rig areas. Food is cheap but who cares when you cant afford to eat or sleep in anything but your car.... I am heading back to ND. Looking for a crude job. Anyone looking for a good, solid driver?
