buy $800.00 worth of fuel still get charged $2.89 for a cup of coffee

With everybody making their own coffee and meals in the truck no wonder these truck stops are having a hard time staying in business.

 

NO KIDDING! It just sort of breaks your heart for the poor truck stop companies, don't it?

Drivers Travel Plaza I35 Fort Worth small dumpy place but always a friendly gal and free cup for whatever you want some mornings my 44oz is free just cause so many of our guys fuel up.

 

For that price I think the only entitlement would be a complimentary ride with Juan on his Columbian donkey

 

I went into a small truck stop the other day where they gave me free coffee even though I didn't buy fuel. (they didn't take comdata) Every truckstop is different, choose wisely.

 

$2.89 will get me a half pound of green beans. Just gotta roast 'em.

And I'd bet my spent grounds would make a tastier cup than that $2.89 cup.

Loves took over very few of their stores. It was mostly exits with multiple pilots.

Just because you don't like the food doesn't mean everyone does... So if they catered to you specifically then it will be unfair to someone else who likes those places. GET OVER IT!!
