Arrived in texas for upcoming trans am orientation

Midnight Mike, did you tell us what truck you got? What year is it, how many miles did it have? Maybe you did and I missed it... Well I heard from the recruiter again today, she needed yet one more doc (third time I've had to fax something) but she says everything looks good, she wants to schedule us for orientation next week...

Well the end of Day 2 here for me in Rockwell. Heard some good things about the lease program that is starting to make me lean more in that way. Will see what it is like when I get on the road late next week.

 

Should have edited it for a 8 hour sleeper break and drove for a few hours and then taken 2 hours off that would have paused your 14 hour clock during your 8 hour sleeper break. that way you could have gotten back 8 hours. but that is in the past. sometime a split sleeper break helps you out.

one thing about starting a lease right now.

Winter and early spring will have periods of slow freight.

Perhaps consider waiting until april or may.

Just a thought.........

 

I would agree with you but TransAm has freight that is not affected by seasons. people always need meat and food at stores all year long.
