I want to get a new blue tooth for my phone but they never seem to be loud enough to hear clearly over the engine noise, jake brake, and road noise. Iam just curious which products you guys have found that work the best. I would prefer to have a hands free device that isn't stuck on my head all the time, the speaker phone type. Let me know what you guys think, and which blue tooth you use.

what about the nice one that COBRA makes i thought that was the HOTT ShIFFF out here...on the market or am i wrong, i need to invest in one of these also as i was schooled on the max fined penalty that can be put down for being caught with phone in your hand and on your ear while driving was $2,750 either way its hard to steer and shift with a dam fone in your hands.

i think the cobra one is like $90 retial

My boss has that Blue parrot and loves it. Only problem I see with his is that it breaks all the time, he has to send it in for a replacement about 2 times a month. He even bought 2 now, so when he is waiting for one to be replaced or repaired he has a backup that last just long enough till the broken one comes back.

Blueparrot xpressway: 3 ways to wear it (behind head for me since I wear a cowboy hat), so loud I have to turn it down, crystal clear mic, about 16 hrs talk time. I even pair it to my laptop so I can get my GPS directions in my ear. About $90 but worth it.:biggrin_25519:

Oh, and I tried the BT250. It broke in two weeks. Xpressway is much more durable.

Blue Parrot for the headset type and Plantronics Voyager Pro for the kind that sets behind your ear.

Blue Tiger is the best imo hands down. Had several Blue Parrot's and they don't last.

I'm really impressed with my BT-250 XT. Works well with my iPhone 4s.
