It will often say trucks and RVs or trucks and towing units go this way and cars go that way. Basically any large and/or combination vehicle that won't park in regular car parking spots goes in the pull through spots.

Thanks for all the replys. Ninety percent of the time I have a 20 foot trailer behind my 30 foot truck. I know I am not a "BIG RIG" and I am not pretending to be. I'm not trying to act like I am a "professional driver" as you all are nor do I want to be. I am however meeting and exceeding all the DOT rules and regs for what I do. I haul cars and equipment to get out of the house since I retired from my real job. (Have to get out of the wife 's way every other week or so.) I really just want to know where I am supposed to park when I stop to rest for a while of just to use the restroom. From now on I am going to park in the car section even if I take up two RV places. Probably less chance getting cursed out over there any way and it's always a shorter walk to the restroom. I am interest in the post that stated since February 2012 a driver can take a 10 break in a day cab truck. This is a change I think from what it used to be.
Thanks again for the info and if any of you see me parked in the wrong place just ask me politely to move and I will be more than happy to do so.

I have ran into many of these same truckers. I am commercial as well and been told to get my truck out of the truck fueling areas. I have been told to get out of the truck parking areas as well.
My trailer was damaged at a truckstop by someone who thought it should not have been there.
We have a poster on here that thinks it is funny to call road service on the campers and they should not be in here.
There are more than just the one out there.Last edited: Sep 14, 2012

It has certainly been made clear here, that you were not in the wrong, and parked exactly where you should have been parked, so no need to beat the dead horse any longer. And, as others have said, don't demonize a whole industry of good guys and gals because of one experience with a single rude guy. There are those rude guys in every single industry out there, bar none.NavigatorWife Thanks this.
