Ran out of Rest Area

I would have told him That I had AIDS & This is the only place I'm Allowed to park. I'm Has Mat! Let me share it with you! He's a punk out of some driving school. Shine him on.

 

That driver was a idiot, I wouldn't consider him a trucker. Had it of been me he was trying to bully out of a spot, his front teeth might end up on the ground. I'm VERY grumpy being woken up in the middle of the night, I want to get my sleep, what's the problem?

I'd have got his truck number and called him in.

 

If there's plenty of room at the four wheeler side I would just park parallel with the curb and let the big spots for the big trucks. But then there's the possibility of some Johnny Law getting all technical with you and making you move, but there's plenty of excuses to give him. Being courteous to the big riggers, tired, too much noise on the big truck side, etc.

Personally I'll use any excuse I can to park far away from the crowd.

Curious to know how I'd sleep in here... Can't lay across the seat because of where my computer is mounted.

 

Hang a hammock outside

 

I always look for motorhomes and those big billion dollar coach bus deals to park my noisy reefer next too... Those people think truckstops are free camping spots LOL

 

Maybe he had a bad day? Bad news? All well and good, but the problem one day will be when he does it again and beats on the wrong door and the one he beats on also had a bad day, bad news. Next thing you know there's a dead driver in the truck rest area with a bullet in his head.

Not saying that's what I would do, but I can't speak for the rest of the transportation industry.

 

Minimum F650 or 19' bed required to park in truck area.
