Just got my class A permit 2day, and I have a question

    Okay so today I passed combinations , air brakes, passenger, and general knowledge. Our state is having a job fair for class B permit and license holders, and I probably need to downgrade to a class B because they train and test you on a bus. My question is in case I dont get the job how do i upgrade back up to class A

    Never backwards, on a CDL. If it moves, I can drive it. Never be afraid to ask for pointers! You can't know everything. Please Drive this Tank up on my Low Boy. :) Guide them. Then chain it down. If your weight is wrong, YOU pay the fine. :)

    Brother reread the general knowledge portion.. Here in Texas it is fool proof it show pictures of what each class can drive... With an CDL A you can drive anything except for the lifts at wal mart.. and I believe that is just so you will pay them 60 bucks to unload you

    Passenger and school bus are separate endorsements with school bus having an additional skills test.

    I know u can drive anything with class a but when i take the driver part of the test it will be on a bus not a tractor trailer. My question is when i test out on the bus will I have a class a or b license

    Thanks , and when i upgrade back to A will I have to take the written part of the test again, or just take the driven test on a tractor trailer . Again thanks
