and if your wondering if they are really a good place to take your break. yes. they won't bother you at all. restrooms are clean even.

 

Yep, the one on I-24 is a planned stop, when possible. Lots of parking.

 

just wanted you to know those yellow things are xray machines they detect any odd shaped cargo in truck and trlr and if you ddnt already know I65 scales have infared scanners to detect heat from your breaks ond scanners to detect low tire pressure i found these out the hard way

I don't think they are X Ray machines ( they actually use Gamma Rays to scan trucks for contents) They detect radioactive material. If you truck is to be scanned it will be parked and you will be sent to a safe area. The gamma ray machine is truck mounted and will drive along side your truck to scan it.

So that if you carry a small nuclear device, they will make sure you are not over weight

 

Port huron MI customs will not let you park while the scan they truck, you must drive through it, they say they don't turn it on until its behind the driver, but who really knows, I am sure i feel weird afterwards.
