If a company has adds in every truck rag out there then you might want to ask yourself why. The best places to work don't need to beg or take halfass drivers.

The best advice I can give a newbee is to go to every trucking company in your area in person and talk to the man in charge .
you don't have to go to work for a mega company or even do over the road . You might check out who is delivering to your local buisness' .

You really need to decide for yourself what you want from trucking and then decide how to get it .

 

If you don't have a cdl try Conway Freight, Old Diminion. Old D being my first choice. They have CDL programs and pay very well vs OTR. These are LTL's if you like a little long haul OLD D. If you want to be home everyday don't mind loading and unloading your trailers with a forklift then Conway Freight. Give em a try it won't hurt.

Prime works for some of us, others... not so much. But you can just about say that of any carrier.

 

I hate all the companies out there. They all are out to sc r e w you over. That is what goes on in them board meetings. How can we make truckdrivers suffer?

That is why when I go into work now, I have a guy follow me around with a camera wearing an "Undercover Boss" t shirt.
