Speedco only takes an hour. No wonder the terminal shops are closing down or have such a bad reputation.

Anyone know anything about the CEVA dedicated acct? Getting of DG and was asked today if me and my buddy wanted to team drive on this CEVA acct. I have never heard anything about it. From what I've been told by the lady in internal transfers it sounds to good to be true. I have to call the acct manager in the morning and will confirm all the details. But I'm told it's no touch freight. Still get paid .48cpm like a normal team. And your garunteed 4700 paid miles a week. So that's $1128 garunteed each week. Home time runs just like normal OTR. Is it just me or does this sound to good to be true. Garunteed that much money no matter what?? I asked the lady like 20 times to repeat it all because I thought I was hearing things lol. Hopefully it all ends up being true cause this sounds like a winner of a acct!

Had friends on the account and, according to them, the pressure was pretty intense. Said that every load was dispatched late and tons of pressure to make up time. They said no time for showers, eating, etc. They also said their FM was pretty abusive but I do not know his name. Just hearsay but all I have heard.

Thanks Craig. I called the acct manager this morning and spoke with him. I've decided not to get on the acct because I don't like the fact that CEVA runs you. USX is just the middle man in things. CEVA plans all loads and tells you where and when to go. And the mileage garuntee is only of your completely available from Saturday-Saturday. If your out of hours or truck breaks down and you have to sit more than a couple hours or you have home time that week you don't qualify for the garuntee. There's also a 3 week mandatory runnin period. Can't go home until you've hit 3 weeks and then they will "try and work you home". I also told the guy that I have a ultrasound to be at on the 5th next month to find out the sex of my kid and I have a wedding to be at on the 20th so I'll need to be home the 18th to make the rehearsal stuff on the 19th and that I'm the best man in the wedding so I can't miss it. The manager was quite snotty and was like well your just gonna have to miss one of the two then. I was like uhhh I don't think so. So it looks like we will be going back to regular team OTR Monday. I hope we get a FM that is cool and understands I really need to be home next month more than usual. We usually stay out a month and never ask for anything earlier. I just can't miss the ultrasound or the wedding or I'm a dead man lol.

I also found out today that either me or my buddy will be going over to Springfield today to pick up a new team truck. I'm guessing it's a new prostar. Hopefully we can cram all our stuff in there lol

Anyone got a 12v fridge in their truck? If so, what kind and how much do they usually cost?

They run around $75 to $100 bucks at any god truck stop. Mine was Igloo Brand they work well. Tip, A trick to having them last is to use your air hose to blow the dust out of the cooling fan once a week. If the dust builds up to much then it will burn it self out.

    Outlawd19 Thanks this.
