The 3 worst receivers I have encountered:Grocers Supply and Kroger in Houston. 6-7 hour unload plus a really rude receiver. Pacific coast containers in Wilmington,Ca. Another super rude receiver. At least they were 10 years ago. The 3 best receivers: Save-a-lot in Humboldt,Tn. Less than 2 hours to unload and friendly overnight parking. Supervalu in Hopkins,Mn. Same as save-a-lot. Kroger in Keller,Tx. Unload in less than 45 minutes the last 7 times I went there.Very friendly receiver.

Leprino Foods in LeMoore CA is my nemesis. The first time I was there they refused to load my "dirty" trailer. Uhhh ok I just got a "sanitized" wash out done because I was hauling raw turkey. Floor was about as clean as can be except for some staining between he rails that is never going to come out. Sooo I went up to Fresno to get another washout. Returned 3 hours later and they still wouldn't load me because there was no evidence of the trailer being cleaned out. Uhh yea there is, I have a reciept right here. After hours of arguing they finally loaded me but indicated on the bills that "carrier liable for contamination due to dirty trailer."

The second time I went there they again did not want to load it because of a dirty trailer. Soooo I ran up to the gas station bought three gallons of water dumped them on the floor and returned. Bam, its now magically clean enough to load. This time though they refused to load it they way I wanted and put all the weight in the nose of the trailer and got to pull the entire load out so they could single off the pallets I told the to single off in the first place.

On top off the bull crap you deal with their shipping office is at the top of five flights of stairs that you get to go up and down a minimum of three times.

Here's a trashy one.Star recycling in Brooklyn,N.Y. Sat there for 2 1/2 days to p/u a load,( of trash) going to Indiana. Called my former dispatcher to find me a load out of there. She called my present ,at the time, dispatcher and suggested to him that I get a load out of where I was. I called him back and he jumped all over me for going over his head and told me to go to Perth Amboy and pick up a different load .

Giant foods in jessup,md. Lumpers got this stop unloaded quickly, but the lazy ### receivers took 3 hours to count product, wouldn't even answer the window until they felt like it. Yet another reason it wouldn't break my heart if a major freak earth quake, tornado, or hurricane wiped out the entire Bodymore, Murderland area.

I ,the driver of my truck,am the best shipper and receiver. This is what I would tell myself 15 years ago when I got off the road due to a heart condition.Got it fixed and it hasn't broke down yet. I'm still driving but I'm local because momma said," If it happens again I'm not going half way around this country to get you."

    Any prison anywhere.

Guard: Says nothing, stroking his stick.
    Me: Delivery

    Guard: What is it?
Me: I don't know. Someone ordered something from corporate express. Here's the package & paperwork.

Guard: Any drugs in the vehicle.
Me: Yes. All these blue & red totes are full of drugs. Here's the paperwork.

Guard: Step out of the vehicle. Any weapons?
Me: Yes a stun gun in the briefcase.

Guard: I have to open these totes.
Me: I have to call the DEA if any zip ties are compromised. My documents are in the glove box. I will have to call the police until the DEA can arrive.

Proceeds to pat me down, go through the vehicle, etc. Meanwhile an elderly lady is having her car torn apart, seats removed etc. She is crying and begging them to stop.

Guard: Get back in the vehicle, go through that gate.

I guess he didn't want to wait on the DEA. He sent me through the visitors entrance, which goes through the yard. Not one inmate made eye contact with me. I go in to metal detectors, empty my pockets, send the package through an x-ray machine, and it starts all over again. Two hours go by. I hated the prison. That was the last straw with that place. I made my husband do the prison runs on his way in, in the mornings. Big trucks went to the loading dock, not the visitor entrance.

I was lucky, I never got locked down like a lot of drivers did.

I do not like corporate express. I do not like anyone who ever ever orders anything from them. They stink!

Oh and it turned out, it was a 50 dollar ink pen some big shot ordered. I threw a fit and my boss just had to find out to tease me.

Gold Metal Recyclers in Dallas Tx. off of Lamar Ave. is one of the worst places I've ever been...Nails and metal everywhere, mud holes big enough to swallow my truck,, thought I was gonna turn over in one, and very slow to unload, about 3 hours. Plus ,, it looked like maybe 100 or more illegals running around inside there right in my way every which way I turned.. The place is Huge...By Gosh I'm not ever going back..

Chobani Yougurt in New Berlin, NY is the new worst. Arrived yesterday at 1330 for a 1400 appt. Was told go to staging lot and that they would call me by CB or cellphone. Well 0230, the yard dog driver knocks on my door and tells me to go to dock 5. As of 0835, there has been no kind of attempt to start loading. If you ever get sent here, make sure you ve taken care of your daily 3 S's and have plenty of food and drink since there are no vending machines or any places to get something to eat within a 30-40 mile radius
