Last company i was with i had someone steal a fuel cap off my truck, there's lots of dirtbags out there now with these 5-truck foreign driver hole-in-the-wall outlaw outfits (i had one of those clowns back into my truck last winter, and neither he or his boss had valid operating authority, they just changed the company name whenever the DOT started going after them), and they think nothing of stealing fuel from company trucks. It kind of puzzles me why they have anti-siphon sleeves on the reefer tanks, but none on the tractor tanks. I think it would make sense these days to have them on both.

They do have sleeves in the tractors. They just break sometimes. Get some replacements next time you're in for service

yeah, I'm hoping that my truck when I pick my truck up it will finally be good. It does have 406K on it, so I'm hoping I will just be lucky to not have anymore problems with it until they take it and trade it in. But I do like 703 better than 756, so I'll stick to this one until they decide that it's time to trade it in. And yes I understand seniority completely, it's like that almost everywhere in the trucking industry or transportation industry. Even when I drove transit buses in VA, MD, and DC it was the same, although we didn't get better buses, but we got better routes if we've been there long enough. So I get that and I don't expect a NEW truck, just another good used one lol. But I think I got a lot of time before I get another one. I'm not sure the idiot that installs the zippers upside down and backwards should be working on truck accessories period lol. At least here they get you into a shop to get fixed if something is wrong with it. Not like they make you sit for days before they decide to get you to a shop. But at any rate, everything will be OK, I will pick my truck up today and hope everything will be fine, which I am sure it will be.

7.5mpg is much better than 756. I use to only get like 5.8mpg out of 756, but with 703 I get like 7.8 or 8.0mpg. But sounds like your truck got some new life in her now.

Lol, No doubt there's an increasing amount of disgusting people out here these days, hopefully i can get thru wv without some of those hills on rte 19 beating me up too bad on my way to abington.

It's pretty alarming how many people that work with reefer trailers on a daily basis have pretty much zero idea how refrigeration works. Speaking of high mileage...I had 20k in the box on Saturday from western Ohio to western Wisconsin, and I pulled out 9.1mpg over 650 miles. Shaping up to be a solid machine, this one. Now we just get to see how long the egr cooler lasts. Lol!

uggg it is insanely humid here in ST Louis (well Granite City Flying J anyway would have stayed nearer US foods or one of the ummm truck accessable stations near Sysco in St Charles...but I needed Reefer Fuel otherwise she was going to run out tonight sometime....so I went to Granite City and decided to stay here... I tried calling my final drop to see if I could get in today but was told a Solid NO...oh well...at least I got 3 gallons of strawberry Ice Cream in my fridge I am trying to keep frozen (I turned it all the way down)...sysco rejected one Tub...so now I have some Ice Cream until I get home and then throw it in the Freezer at home......

There's one of the new cascadias getting inserviced at Sheldon. Meanwhile, the red one is two bays down getting outserviced.
