I may have a job offer from Sunline in Harlingen Texas. Either f/bed or van. Any idea guys/gals. I haven't found anything about them. It's long way for me to go for less then truthful antics.
Thanx

I believe they used to be part of ACME and were with United Vision as well on their flatbed side. I ran into a lot of their van drivers at the Ganado, TX T/A and don't think any of them spoke English. Mainly cheap border town labor..... But I'm just talking about the guys I saw.
MJ1657, CAXPT and Heavy Haul Thank this. -
I ran a load for them out of laredo. Looked like some easy to haul stuff in their yard, I pulled part of a roof for a new HEB to copperous cove. I didn't feel as if they were driver friendly but I was an outsider. Everyone was hispanic which is fine because I speak spanish but if you don't and take a job in the valley it might be difficult to communicate. That ld didn't pay, it was just to get out of laredo, don't know what the cpm for company drivers is.
Heavy Haul Thanks this. -
I ended up blowing them off. THe reruiter " Andre" got really shquirrely when I asked to questions I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT. Y'all beware. Started for Eagle One in Midland TX. Am in orientation now...they have done everything they said they would so far including relocation, etc. Refreshing.
Mention my name ( Greg Stark ) & I'll split the referral w/you.

-

Col Thanks this. -
I looked into Eagle one. Looked very interesting and the guy I talked to was straight to the point. I chose not to pursue them because I was looking for a little more of a stationary job. I think if you were able to move around a lot and were up to doing different jobs it would be a fun company to work for. Seemed like they wouldn't be boring.
