My trainer was from Houston, tx! I was pretty disappointed, but after meeting him it was all good. Cool dude...
-
So for three weeks you didn't get home?
-
You would need to be prepared to be gone the first 6 weeks straight. 2 weeks in Little Rock, then 3 or 4 while you are with your trainer. That way if you get a trainer that lives near you and you get to go home on them weekends, it is a plus! At least that is the way I'm looking at it. I just hope the home time is decent once we get out on our own!
-
People say that they get home every weekend. The only thing that would worry me is securing the load by myself! If you didn't do something right you could kill somone if something fell off!
-
I didn't get home for 7 weeks... But that's not the case for everyone... About 60 percent of my class saw the home a few times during training. It's all about what trainers are available in ur area, if there even is one.

hubby was away from home for 7 weeks during training. We live in Denton, NC There were no trainers in the area. Got one that lived in AK so he was in a hotel room on the weekends. Flew him to Laurinburg to pick up his truck and he got to come home for a few days before his 1st load. We're home most weekends now but there are times out 2-3 weeks at a time. Usually make a circle with loads. NY, MD, PA or NJ then head to IL, MI or OH then IN, KY or TN and head back to NC. There has been times we went to WI, TX and AK. Hope this helps
