Just checked, no sign of it. Like I said, I only downloaded and ran it, never did install it.

loving this new 720 Mark. Good job.
Mark Kling Thanks this. -
A small point, but has anyone noticed that some of the voice prompts are hilarious? My favorite so far is "Geo Washington Br." gets spoken as "Geo Washington Brother". I get a chuckle every day from that one. As well some prompts just spell out the sign rather than pronounce the word. Eg: Cross Bronx Expressway is spoken as Cross B-R-O-N-X Expressway and many others too numerous to list.

I had set the "avoid U-turns" option on but am now wondering if it is too restrictive. Will it even avoid situations like getting off the freeway, going under, and then back on in the opposite direction? Or does it just avoid pulling a U-turn in the middle of the road (and why would that not be a default for 53')? Thanks

Mine is set to avoid u-turns and avoid tolls. But it does just the opposite it insists on taking toll roads and making u-turns. As a matter of fact it insisted I cross a toll bridge, make a u-turn (an illegal and impossible one) and come back to the correct exit that it should have told me to take in the first place. This was on the San Mateo bridge in Hayward CA. The correct directions should have been to take the exit directly before the toll. (Also the designated truck route.) This is coming from Sacramento CA to 555 Maritime St. Hayward CA. Luckily I have been that way a million times and caught it before I even considered going that way. Can't imagine what that would have cost me making an ilegal u-turn on a freeway, plus the $25 toll for the bridge.

Also directed me down a couple 5 ton roads. Coming from San Fran down to Fremont CA. Boyce RD in Fremont being one that it insisted on using even after I detoured and and set it to avoid.
I can tell ya all where this thing is going. Right back to where it came from. Might be a nice unit when it gets all the bugs worked out but until then I will just keep using my old Tom Tom. -
Along the same lines, I have mine avoid dirt roads too. But now that these dirt road warnings have been popping up lately, I'm wondering if i should take that off. What I mean is that if is seeing some short segment near a truck stop as dirt, and it's legal, I don't want to avoid that. Has anyone who is allowing it to use dirt roads had any problems? Thanks
