Well, you've got time and age on your side. Plenty of opportunity. Just stick that first year out at that first gig if any way possible. I WISH YOU WELL!

Anyone planning on going through a terminal for "Driver appreciation" week? They are doing backrubs a bbq, hotdogs, and treats. They are also doing clean truck contest giving out 2. $50 pilot cards all 5 days.
I think those office workers are going to enjoy all that driver appreciation. -
I would not bank on that. Unless Werner became debt free in the past year.
The only debt free company's that I know of in truckload are Crete (including shaffer and Hunt), Knight, Heartland.Nottoway Thanks this. -
i have actually heard this also from a few other drivers that work there that they are a debt free company. idk though if thats your only selling point then im not interested. as long as my check keeps comin i dont care if they are in debt or not
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
also if youve been clean 8 months then you have nothing to worry about on the hair test unless you ahve really long hair

Actually Jarhed, just got back in the game here recently. Running team for a company here in Central Fl. (DTL) Run Miami to Dallas,Austin,San Antonio. All back hauls are prearranged. I am on a ten day schedule leaving out Saturday afternoons. Get back to Miami on Tues morning and do another. Then I am back on Friday morning and have off till Saturday afternoon again. One more trip out and I'm back on Tues morning. Then I have off till Saturday afternoon again. Technically its 9 days. I run 9300-9500 miles. Get paid hub miles! $.22 per mile. Averaging around $2000 for my 9 day trips. Actually making more than I would if I were owner op! So far so good! Still in the "honeymoon" phase but seems like all is cool. If anyone is looking for a good gig and has at least 3 years experience and lives in Central Fl I highly recommend them!
Jarhed1964 Thanks this.
