Aww yea, got to love when this happens:
Took almost an hour for them to figure out it was even supposed to go here. Then another 2 hours of waiting to get a dock. And now I've been in the dock for 3+ hours.
I'm also going to be taking a 34 parked behind their warehouse. There's a BP with limited truck parking across the street so they said I could just stick around here. Going to spend the next couple of days bored out of my mind in Duluth, MN. At least I have decently fast internet and my Xbox. Might play some CoD to pass the time. -
That looks like a jaw breaker lucky that didn't hit u when u opened up those doors

Local is nice pay was good but i know many ppl will disagree with me but untill they do it they sould keep quiet, i will be out for 5 days then i will have 56 hrs at home which honestly is more time at home then when i was local.. like i said sometimes i didnt get back to the yard till 10 at night that is sometimes earlier..lol... then paperwork and fill the truck up then post-trip which put me (after my shower and food)in bed at around 11:30 and backup at 2:45 -3 ( because i lived 5 mins from the truck yard) ..so i got roughly 4 hrs of sleep then back out...granted my checks were 1400-1600 wekkly after taxes and child support...so ill get more sleep and see my family more being over the road... strange huh??? never EVER thought i'd say that lol

For my road-trip will it be a straight ten or 13 or 18 speed? and ive been running a diff transmission then whats in those trucks.. i have no problems shifting or grinding gears but (i know this sounds bad) do they expect you to just jump in a unfamiliar truck and just go or do they give you any kind of warm up to get used to the truck/tranny? also what all the things you posted earlier on failing true?lol... i havent been in a terminal in a looooong while..just trucking yards and oilfields lol...its gonna be quite a change i imagine?
