I love mine works and talks like a dream. all my radios are touched by 1 guy, been using him for the last 15 years and never had any issues. Ray Brasher @ rays cb shop next to the petro in west memphis ar. He has been working on radios 30+ years and doesn't feed you bs, his meter is a little loose but not much, the proof is in the pudding.

here we go, it was not a bird meter! all my stuff goes through the man that made the silver eagles/older TNT/comet linears, mr Ray Brasher from brownsville tn. his shop is in west memphis ar next to the petro, not ch5, not pro-tech, ray's cb shop. 30+ years experience speaks for itself, is his meter a little happy, yes, does he tell you a cobra 29 will do 100watts with a few turns of a golden screwdriver- heck NO. I have had nothing but good results from him and has been my only tech to touch any of my stuff in the last 15 years.

I have a Galaxy DX 95T that's has all blue channel and freq digits and blue meter lights, with an Astatic 636L mic with a Wilson 2000 trucker antenna. It's basically stock except for access to the cb channels.
My spare radio is a Cobra 29 night watch sound tracker limited. It's got the gold case. It's been tuned up a little bit. Been thinking of hooking it up to my TX 800 and using it as my main radio.
In the pick up at home I have a Galaxy DX 959 that is bone stock with a RK56 mic and a Wilson 1000 roof mount.
