Boyce Rd in Fremont CA is a 5ton (not a 5ton axle limit) road that it really likes to route. It is only about 1 mile long. It runs north and south between Stewart Ave and Auto Mall Pkwy. Also it routes Auto Mall Pkwy between i880 and i680 where all truck traffic is prohibited going west.

I have compiled a list for you Mark and will get it e-mailed to you, however I am starting to think there is a software issue with this unit. I am going to exchange it when I get somewhere that has one in stock, I played with the one at the Pilot I was just at and it routed the way I would have expected yet when I do the exact same thing on mine in the parking lot its route is completely different and seems to prefer side roads over highways.

Is there a way to completely reload the maps and software into this? I did the update via the dock but wondering if that is where my problems came from. I never tried it before the update.

I read this Article in the Trucker today.

Can you tell me a little more precisely when they are shipping or when they will be available? I am looking at a new GPS. I know I don't want a 7" screen so this article got my attention.

I would check in preferences/route/freeway settings.. you may have yours set to allow instead of prefer.

    Thanks,
    mark

Not from the Dock. You can run off the Dock - Tools/Dialogistic & Repair.

    Thanks,

That I cannot say. This is on the supply side of the house and then once they ship they will be shipped to DAS whom supplies the truck stops.

Roftware - must be a new term.. :biggrin_2554:

Do Note - Those with an existing 510 must be on the LTM program as the software requires the latest maps.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Yeah I saw that term too. I guess if the article was about Garmin it would have been Goftware. :biggrin_25522:

Anyway thanks for the reply. I'll wait a few weeks I guess and start asking the truck stop help if they are the newer ones.

Ok so if I do get the bugs worked out or I exchange it for a different one what do I have to do to get the LTM that is being offered up until the end of October? I did not see any kind of code or anything to unlock them?

Update - I have verified that this was and has been in for this affect for this buy-back program.

    http://store.randmcnally.com/trucking/intelliroute-tnd-720.html

Once you receive your 720 go to this link and fill in the registration card. As always, keep a copy of any paperwork you send in and note the date on your copy of the day you mailed it in. Allow 6-8 weeks for the data to be entered in the database. You should receive a E-Mail.

Make sure you have the Serial number correct along with your E-Mail on the card.

    Thanks,
