ACT american central transport

I forgot about the Petsmart loads when I said that earlier.

 

Has any other ACT drivers been struggling with miles recently? Been talking to several and it seems mixed on who is getting to run and who is sitting? BL's seem to play a huge role in this.

Yes they do. But it seems like things are changing in the office. The "family company" atmosphere seems to be gone now. I know several drivers at ACT, myself included that have been here for quite a while and are thinking about leaving. Extremely low miles and being treated like crap.

 

Elaborate a little ( don't need sources or anything ) but are the owners ( the lawyers ) bickering or are there just a general theisis to treat drivers like trash ? The low miles - well that is trucking to a extent unless it last for prolonged periods of time . Then it becomes a issue of what customer did we loose or he said she said .. It's your fault not mine kind of stuff that ultimately is all directed to the driver

 

Not sure if the owners are bickering or exactly what is the cause of the change. I do know without a doubt that things have changed.

 

The low miles have been pretty consistent for at least three months now for most of the people that I know personally. An average of 2000-2250 per week. I have been going home for 2 days every third week and still cant seem to get any more miles. It wasnt all that long ago that I was getting home every other weekend and was still averaging 2700-3000 miles per week. When I mentioned this to some of the office personnel I was told that 2200 was now the company average and it showed no signs of improving anytime soon.
