Is it true Western Express makes you go to New York City quite often?

once you pick up in maine where are most of the deliveries made once you leave maine? how far down the coast you go and whats the normal time out before a weekend at home? are you allowed on toll roads,is this why they deduct $2.50 from you because you used your ez pass? they take most of your training pay,why? you are charged if you use your ez pass,fined if you deliver your load late which i could understand if you're a goof off but what if it's legitable? you're charged a dollar mile if you go off route,which i've never done so i'm not worried about that and i've never been late delivering or pick up. i guess the only thing thats really bugging me is the loss of traing pay and e pass deduction, thats really weird. am i missing anything?

 

From Maine you normally NJ,NY,Pa. home time depends on your dm. The 2.50 is for ezpass and transflo. With the training pay i have herd different things. One person said 200 one person said .06 out of your perdium pay if you go out with a trainer. T hey give you a route suggestion of the most economical route. sometimes we use toll roads other times we don't. We don't go over the GW bridge anymore though.

 

yea, i hear the gw raised their rates. when you said it was up to dm for home time, would you say i can xpect home time every weekend or everyother weekend? every other weekend would be fine with me. my last job i was home everyweekend but sometimes i'd be enjoying myself and just soon stayed out for another week. but being out more than 2 weeks don't interest this old boy, i don't think. who knows but paying rent on a place i'd like to at least enjoy it. if i request everyother weekend at home will that fly with dm?

 

when you get put on your dms board let them know hoetime every 1 to 2 weeks. being from up there you should have no prblem doing that.

I don't know about Cali or Nashville. If your a student you will be out for 4 wks with a trainer. Once you get seated and talk to your DM let him know how you want to run. You could be out 2-4 wks at a time. Just talk to your DM and let them know how you want to run. Same goes for Cali. Running out of the PA terminal doing NE regional they try 2 get you home every week to 2 weeks.
