I talked with a recruiter yesterday and she told me if I go Northeast refer div I would get .36mile + .05 for being northeast region + another .05mile for driving a truck with a single bunk. This sound accurate?? .46 mile for a rookie to start seems a little to good to be true...That is after 30k miles with a trainer, and I have just shy of 6 months exp otr coming through the door.

 

IF you ask for NE fleet, yes. And it's 35cm up to your 80k (training, included, but they don't like telling you that.) then 36cpm plus 5cpm ltwt plus 5cpm NE PLUS fuel bonus (1 to 4 cpm)

 

On the edge, livin' life as large as the thin ice I'm on allows! Rant??? I don't rant!! I just strongly 'splain stuff!!!

So I spend 30k with a trainer at the .12pm or $600 then anoter 50k solo at .35pm then get bumped to the pay range she was talking about. if that's the case it seems more down to earth and inline with what others offer up.

PSD is 30k, C-seat(already have CDL) is 40k. This time of year, about 8 - 10 weeks w/ trainer. And those numbers are MINIMUMS. Any "incidents" will set you back a few thousand miles.

 

I will also say that JCW got his 80K raise in about 4 months of going solo.

 

Gotta watch that thin ice when you're made of "Iron" and an RTC driver has your back!
