Ended up dropping that load in Lex and repowering something else. Tried to go team with this student but that's a no go. I had to babysit him all day yesterday in Kansas City because we had to swap out our trl for a newer one to pu a GM load. First they sent us to Dillards, but Dillards won't allow mt swaps (keep that in mind if they ever try and have you swap out a trl at the Dillards in KC) so we had to drop ours in the drop yard and go back down there for an mt. I ended up with no sleep and made it to the delivery with 5 minutes to spare. This morning I told them no more team with this student. This guy is actually dumber than that idiot co-driver I had. I don't understand how anyone can be this dumb. He absolutely cannot retain anything. All the loads we've done and not only can he not remember the macros, or where to find them, he can't remember that there even is a circle of service. This guy has 95 hours in and nothing to show for it.
Anyways, getting loaded near Ft Wayne and heading to Columbus.
USX drivers...how's your day??

Hey Jeremy, here are my thoughts.
The ProStar+ has a great layout with lots of very smart storage bins and nooks. Just totally different than the Cascadia so we had some challenges until we got some stuff out of the truck. It drives awesome and is very comfortable. The windows in the back make a huge difference and I don't ever want to give them up. The Jake is not as good but it does work, it seems to have a little less power and I think the clutch and brake are just tough because we came from a truck with 350k miles to a new truck. The clutch spring is hard but I am sure it will get easier. If I were to buy a truck, I think it would be a Prostar. Also, no DEFJeremyc Thanks this. -
BTW hours are completed. Upgrade Monday in Springfield, OH. Hope to be in a truck by Tuesday. Just depends if they have one for me. Have a great weekend everyone!

Had to get a jump start this am. Not sure why. We only run a small reefer all the time...no other electronics. Fortunately we were at a TA in Seattle. HT scheduled for Fri. We have been out 8 weeks and getting over 5500 miles per week.

Craig, it was an honor to finally meet you and T-bear.
I wish I had more time to chat, but that 1000 drop in Romeoville put a damper on things. I did come back after I picked up the next load on my way to PA. Didn't see you guys walking around, so I loaded up the coffee and headed east.
I'm sure we'll run into each other again. BTW, How was the BBQ?
Folks, these are two wonderful people. -
Is it better to run regional or dedicated?
