Thanks for the information. When you say they go into NY, do you mean the city or the state? It is what it is I guess.

Well, I can deal with it. It is what it is, so whatever they want I will just make it a mission to complete the task. I drive down tomorrow to Savannah and then get ready for the physical, the fit tests and then the drive. I guess if I was not meant to be a flat bed hauler, I will soon know. ;)

Thanks. How strict were they? Not really worried, I am sure I will be fine, but it is always better to have too much information, than not enough.

The first person I met was Roddy. Genuinely nice guy! I started a thread that will include my journey through the Orientation, training and whatever else comes up. It can be found here: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...tarting-orientation-training-next-week-2.html

    Hi,

Are you still with CT? I am thinking of going to work for them. I am just out of CDL school.

    Thanks,
    Darrin

    Darrin,

I am no longer in the road. I wanted to be with my two young boys and because I retired from the Navy, I am now permanently home with them and doing the dad thing. Good luck out there and be safe!

Thanks for the answer, good for you to be home with the kids. I am going to go with them out of Baltimore, seem to be the best fit for me I am not looking to make a lot of money but would like the home time they offer. Everyone I have spoken to about them seem to be positive and every company has their shortcomings.

    Darrin
