    Don't lie about anything.
Take as much money as you can in the bank.
    Pay attention at all times.
Don't worry once you get past the first 2 days it gets easier.
Orientation is a walk in the park.
Watch others while they practice in the yard and learn from there mistakes.
Find a couple of people you get along with and work as a team it helps.
Bottom line is you will do fine.
Take cold weather gear with you you'll be out with a trainer as it starts to get cold.
    ASK QUESTIONS ASK EVERYBODY.
Good luck and welcome to someone's Central thread.

It's already cold up north. Down in the 40's at night. So glad I brought my jacket last time I left the house...

Don't do anything retarded like gettin caught at a bar or drinking alcohol. They'll send you home in a hurry. Some people get told, others somehow don't get the memo.

Any advice for do's and dont's when out with a trainer? If they have a fridge or cooler, will they share it, or will it be eating out 24/7? Anyone actually stayed at the econo-lodge in Fontana? Are there any drop yards in Central Valley, ca?

ask questions... Pay attention... Be respectful... If there are problems make sure you communicate them to the training dept... The Econolodge, is a motel; not any better or worse than any other. Yes there is a drop yard in Stockton.

Health insurance questions. What does hra completed and hra not completed mean? Is insurance open enrollment, or enroll any time? Travel questions. If I travel to San Bernardino by Amtrak instead of greyhound, will the shuttle still pick me up? No mention of pillow on what to bring list. Should I bring my own?

Tennis shoes or steel- toed shoes, or both? Do the teach you chains at Fontana? Recommended $200 minimum for personal expenses during cdl school. Realistic?

If a trainer has a fridge he may or maynot share it up to him.
Yes you eat out all the time.
    A motel is a motel.
    I would say the bus.
Chains there is a tire mounted you can practice putting chains on plus your trainer should teach you.
    Pillow for trainers truck.
Boots it may snow while you train.
    Not sure about insurance.
On the bus thing you may be able to take the train if the bus cost less you pay the difference.

$ 300.00 for school and $ 200.00 for the trainers truck. It will be awhile before you get your first check.
