Truck is at the mother ship for repairs again. Check Engine light and rough idle this time.
At the hotel for some rest, hoping to shake this bug before my load out tomorrow.

Yep, i shelled out quite a bit of money when i did that run, my regret was shutting down at mitchell instead of pushing it into that new pilot in murdo, i wouldve left myself enough time on my 14 to stop and grab me a few souvenirs at wall drug.

Its sad. The lumper service makes more on some loads that we do lol....I'm sitting in Chicago getting loaded to go home...this delivers in Sioux falls Monday lat. Morning.m

Sooo...turns out I'm not the third trainer. I'm the replacement for Roland, the long-time trainer for Swift, who's apparently decided to move on to other things. How do I know this? 840 was his truck. Lynwood pointed this out to me when I swapped trailers with him in Dubuque the other day. Whee!

Anyone been to Wal-Mart in Valmeyer, IL?? Gotta date with her at 2 P.M. Tuesday.......

Met the Saienga while in Sheldon and we shared a hotel room. Great to meet ya and hope I didn't wake you when I was getting gone.
Truck is fixed and whatever was wrong that Dean took care of is amazing. She's running better than ever. Pulling 43K in the box and getting 7.2 mpg.
In Perrysburg, OH tonight then onward to Harrisburg, PA in the morning. Have a 0100 delivery at Sygma on Tuesday. Any suggestions on parking? How is that little Pilot on 322 or should I stay on 81? -
If you get there early it's cool, but its a typical pliot.....

got to my delivery in salem, va an hour early for the 2300 appointment, still not in the dock, i'd love to find the idiot who decided to schedule the next stop at 0700 in the morning 360 miles away in somerset, ky without allowing enough time to get unloaded here in salem and string that person up. i will be warning waynesboro to not put me on this run again, and to tell me before hand next time when they decide to bring the load to waynesboro, thus saving me the trouble of having to look for the trailer at the shipper, and everyone has gone home and won't answer the phone.
looks like they might wind up repowering or rescheduling the final, not sure how long this place will be getting me into a dock, seems funny since the last time i came here i was in and out in just over an hour, and that was for a full load.

Got a phone call from mike yesterday...they had a load they needed picked up today and taken to Pleasant Prairie....so ran to sheldon to drop my Sioux Falls load...then to worthington for pick up.....
Oh and CAT scales are 10 bucks now....wonderful... -
So much for this load being a success, still waiting to get out of here in salem, va, 3 hours waiting to be put in a dock, another 4 hours waiting for them to unload, it seems like they got rid of the good people who got me right in& out last time i was here, and hired idiots who couldn't pass a remedial course in nose-picking, i checked back in & they forgot i was in the dock! Not to mention the fact that its now 2 hours till my 7 am appt in somerset, ky. Cory & josh aint gonna like hearing about this fiasco. Especially with cargill not answering the call in number on the envelopes.
